09 / 01 / 13 - Congratulations to PhD Researcher Ciaran Lyons, Best Oral Paper OMTAT 2013, India

Congratulations to Cluster PhD Researcher Ciaran Lyons, UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, who won the best overall oral paper at the recent OMTAT conference. OMTAT: the 2nd International conference on Optoelectronic Materials and Thin films for Advanced Technology, was held from 3rd to 5th of January, 2013 in Kochi, India.

Ciaran's paper was entitled "Synthesis of Organic dyes for Dye Sensitized Solar Cells" and included: Cluster authors, PhD Neelima Rathi, Prof Edmond Magner and Prof K Ravi Thampi; UCD authors Drs Owen Byrne and Praveen Surolia; and international collaborators, Aswani Yella and Prof Michael Graetzel (EPFL, Switzerland).
