A 4 Year PhD Post is now available in UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering for a project on Carbon Dioxide Capture via Pressure Swing and Vacuum Swing Adsorption (P/VSA). Project funding includes a stipend of 16,000Euro per annum and fees of 5,750Euro for 4 years. The start date is January 2012 (or earlier) Please see the attached ad for more details on the project. This PhD post is part of a PhD Programme in Earth and Natural Sciences, funded by PRTLI Cycle 5 through the UCD Earth Sciences Institute. The programme will deliver a structured education that is student-centered, innovation-focused, and that imparts students with a tailored set of disciplinary skills and multidisciplinary knowledge focused at the interface of energy and environment. The PhD programme brings together research leaders, policy-makers, and industry across a wide range of relevant disciplines and expertise at UCD and its partner institutions. The closing date for applications is the 31st August, or will remain open until the post is filled.
